I'd been wanting to visit Llanddwyn Island and the Twr Mawr lighthouse for a long time, and wow, it did not disappoint. Vicky and Lee had been before, so they knew their way around this beautiful stretch of the Anglesey coastline. It's about a 30 to 40 minute walk along the beach to reach the island, but every step is worth it for the views of the lighthouse and beyond to Snowdonia. We were so lucky with the weather too. I honestly felt like I was in paradise.
If you have a particular place in mind for your engagement shoot, whether it's a favourite beach in North Wales or somewhere further afield, I'm always up for an adventure and love exploring new locations with couples. Llanddwyn Island is now firmly on my list of favourite spots for relaxed, candid engagement photography in North Wales.
